Day one:
Early morning arrival in the city of Kavala. It is the birthplace of one of the most prominent figures in the history of the city - Mohammed Ali. We will hear the story of his love for the land, on which he was born and grew up.
Heading to the famous masterpiece of Egyptian architecture Imaret Mosque , which is a combination of a mosque and a school, with a view to its sub port. This historic oriental building was restored in 2004 and it is one of the architectural landmarks of Kavala today.
Then we will visit the city walls, called "Venetian fortress" , built by Emperor Justinian I in an attempt to protect the city from the barbarian raids.
Time to discover the city. At lunch-time, we continue to Paralia Katerini. Hotel accommodation in 2 or 3-star hotel. Overnight.

Day two:
Breakfast. Heading to the Tempi valley, at the foot of the mythical Olympus and the miraculous "springs of Aphrodite", with healing and holy water. We will visit the chapel "St. Paraskeva. " After a brief break for photos, departure to Meteora - unique place, called the eighth wonder of the world, a combination of natural beauty and ancient Christian traditions. An unique opportunity to explore some of the famous rock monasteries. We stop in the town of Kalambaka, at the foot of a natural phenomenon. Free time for lunch and for a walk through the town. We return to the hotel later in the afternoon. Overnight.

Day Three:
Breakfast. Leisure time. Optional / minimum 25 participants / day trip to Edessa, one of the most beautiful cities in Northern Greece (Aegean Macedonia), located about 90 km west of Thessaloniki. Its name was derived from its wealth of water, waterfalls and greenery, and the greatest glory the city thanks the famous waterfalls. Departure to Vergina, to visit the tomb of one of the greatest representatives of the Macedonian dynasty - Philip of Macedonia, where we visit the ruins of the ancient Macedonians Palace. Back to Paralia Katerini in the afternoon. Visit a tavern, where at the sounds of Sirtaki-music and flavor of ouzo, we will enjoy a Greek evening, with music and dance and will try the delicious Greek dishes / optional /. Overnight.

Day four:
Breakfast. 9:00AM- Departure to Thessaloniki - The Greek pearl of the Aegean Sea. Panoramic tour of the seafront "Nike", along the White Tower, the Monument to Alexander of Macedonia, we will visit the church of "St. Demetrius "- of Thessaloniki; Rotunda and Arch of Galerius. Free time to stroll the streets, "Aristoteles"- Square, a promenade with cafes, shops and colorful markets of Thessaloniki. Departure to Bulgaria. We arrive in Varna early in the morning of the next day.
